I had this same issue last month. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the seals all around. We've had some bad rain since and it has been dry. Two week turnaround which is crazy, but dealers are gonna dealer.

I have the same kit you linked saved, in case it happens again.

I took to the service dept and he jokingly said it’s deserted rated being a Mojave and not swamp rated. It’s just irritating. I night just try the kit and see if it works.

I've had leaks galore from the freedom top area since my truck was new. Multiple leak areas, 1 being as you described. Multiple dealerships were no help. It was often suggested, this forum and other forums, to use honda shin-etsu grease on all the seals. I was skeptical, but since using, I have no leaks. You can pick it up in the parts department at your local Honda dealer.
