Hi everyone,

I have read about a very common problem regarding the back windshield leaking which I unfortunately discovered this past week.

However, does anyone else have an issue with their hardtop leaking near the front? Water is pooling up where the bolts are for the rear portion of the hardtop, and when I turn when it is raining it soaks me and my front passenger... Anyone else experience this? Took it to the dealer who told me they couldn't diagnose the problem.

I scheduled a service appointment for next Tuesday, but I am scared after reading about some dealership horror stories with broken glass, scratched hardtops, etc.

Any advice?

I've had the leaking from the freedom panel on the passenger side at the rear. If the handle bolt isn't tight the weather stripping lets water into the cab instead of flowing through the drain.

My 23 Liz leaking through the rear window and the front passenger door. My 20 was also leaking through the rear window but not to the degree of the ‘23.

I’m trying to decide if I will fix it with clear rtv vs going to the dealer. The door leak stopped on it’s own—probably a seal pinched that righted itself.

Hey there, could you clarify what you mean by the handle bolt? I am getting leaks exactly where you described on the passenger side freedom panel on the rear of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Same issue on my 2020, I narrow it down to the foam tape on the panels being old and not sealing with the rubber gasket on the pillar properly. Waiting for my foam tape to arrive and see if that solves the problem.
Did the foam tape resolve the leak?
