Not sure why I have to do shit like this to a brand new $70,000 truck. As much as I love this truck, transmission issues and leaky windows are not acceptable for a brand new vehicle. I will be trading it in before the warranty expires. I will not be buying another Stelantis product 🫤

Ok then. Just remember every brand has issues. Chevy engines, & transmissions Ford Transmissions ,Toyota Engines,
The Best Truck is the one that you make your own. That's what I decided to do.
At 143k miles it will be built like I think it should have been from the factory.
Remember No Other brand has as many aftermarket upgrade parts available period !

It is definitely true though that jeep does not give a flying fuck about fixing that rear window design

I aint never had a problem with mine. But I also wonder why no one has just tried to use a clear marine grade silicone instead of that half round weather stripping business.

I tried that first. Didn't seal. Maybe if I used 4 tubes.

I've had two Jeeps for a total of 9 years and 125,000 miles.

Purely 'get me where I need to go' speaking, they've been dead reliable.

Been chock full of dumb little goofy problems, though. Everything from rattles and shakes to death wobble and leaking tops and windows to errant service engine lights and fluids that were not even filled to spec from the factory and ball joints under torqued, corrosion on the hood, wheel speed sensors, etc.

I told a friend of mine a few years back when she wanted to buy a Jeep 'They are great, but they have quirks and you need to understand that before you buy it - they aren't normal'. Sure enough two or three years into it she's complaining about a leaking freedom panel and a wheel speed sensor and I'm over here like the Kermit drinking tea GIF like 'Yea I told you about this'.
