There's a couple threads on these. There are two versions, one for ACC/FCW and one without. It is a nice concept, but I'm not sure they are bright enough to be real useful. I looked at them, even though they are a little pricey, but I'm tall enough it would interfere with my field of view.

I am with Mr. Bill, at least at my height the blocking of the windshield would be a deal breaker for me. I already am not super happy with the limited view the windshield has to begin with.

I feel like you would get a lot more light output out of cube lights or something similar on the outside.

TY both for the feedback...the main reason I was looking at these is to not hear the wind noises especially at higher speeds on exterior light bars...plus I do like the way they look to be honest... I'm a tad under 6 ft...whadya think?

If you don't want wind noise on a exterior light bar look for one with a closed end like this
Jeep Gladiator Dual Interior JT Light Bars feedback? IMG_20150809_173934

These types don't have the wind noise like the open end ones do. I ran this one on my JKU for a little bit but the drag from the wind resistance was a good enough reason for me to remove it. The ones you are referring to that mount inside, I know a guy running something like that in his silverado truck and they don't really have much throw and they also cause some significant glare as well on the windshield. For that price you can find better lights for the exterior that would be much more useable light

I get that, I hear wind noise on light bars can be bad. I guess it really comes down to how much light you need. Going through the glass isn't going to be great. Also how do you feel about the current amount of visibility you have?

Get some cardboard or paper the same height as the ACC/FCW box and tape it up across the windshield. That will give you an idea of how it will affect your vision.

I purchased one yesterday, expecting delivery tomorrow. The ACC version, which had originally been sold out and would not ship until 1/21. I’ve been eyeing it for a while. I’m 6’2 and I have the seat at the lowest setting. I’ve tried to envision how much of the windshield this will take up and I don’t think it will bother me too much. Hoping to have it installed by the end of the week.

Installed theACC version of the light bar today. Pretty straight forward, took just about an hour. I’ll test it out tonight to see if I need to adjust it any due to light leaking into the passenger compartment. There’s a couple of spots that I see now that give me pause but I’ll find out later.

How many inches do you loose I heard it was like 4.5?
The light bar is a little less than 2” tall. It comes just about half way down the ACC box. Not a great pic. I have my seat at the lowest height setting and it seems fine
