Good on you for making an obviously good woman happy. But I have one question for anyone here.
Why is this even made? I understand it may actually fix the rear window leak problem but it's not "designed" for that. I could see it for trucks that have the back window roll down into the cab wall, but the gladiator?
There’s a rear window leak problem?

To be fair, I could see there being a really small market for this.

I had to drive ~20 minutes due east every afternoon around sunset when my mother in law would watch my son while I'm at work. It's 20 minutes of direct sun blaring into what was then an infant's eyes. This was when I still had my honda accord - I bought 4 of those pull down shades, putting them on both back door windows and two on the back windshield. There would still be gaps (now brighter than ever) and he's scream/cry the entire way home. I ended up taping sheets of paper to the glass where there were gaps. I'm sure it looked terrible, but I finally had a peaceful ride home.

Fast forward to kid #2 and the same trip (now just occasional) I noticed it happening again. Kid #2 has the benefit of a brother to help learn - after 5 mins I look back and he's covering his face with a blanket, on purpose. If only the first one would have done that!

Be careful what you wish for and never lie to a great woman .....you could come home to this

“You seem to really enjoy your JT a lot ....why can’t I have some fun as well. Can we go look for a Jeep for me?”

Next thing you know .....this.

Worth every penny.

Purchased as a gift for me.

Guys be careful what you say around yer Wimmins.

One time, had a small leak around the rear window, and commented.

I know it's a common problem, and a pain to fix.

My Lovely bought me this;

A GTS Blade Shade for the Gladiator.

Hesitated putting on because of the tonneau, at least that's what I had said.

As the tonneau is off for the bodywork, and the awaiting part, it was suggested this would be a great time to install.

She's so excited.

It's on, and she loves it, and I love her for thinking of me.

What say you?

Instructions were completely wrong, too small to attach to the top. The right size for the glass.

Well, Her intentions were good and It’s the thought that counts. Unfortunately that accessory doesn’t stop the leak. That is on the actual glass and the leak is from the bad seal between the glass and the cab, at least that’s where mine was.
