Been waiting a while for this one to get back in stock but glad I waited and didn't buy a different one. I'm real pleased with this bumper and the ease of install. Hardest part was getting all the towing hook up plugs released and the wiring harness removed from the old stock bumper. I recommend it and I ordered mine straight from DV8, 7 days free shipping from Cali to NC.

One other thing is it comes with the tag lights but they have to be hard wired in, not a huge deal I just cut the plugs off the end of harness for the stock tag lights and wired them up, not planning on going back to the stock bumper.

Like the bumper, not sure how "High Clearance" it is though, looks to be same as a Rubicon steel bumper except on the sides?

The sides are higher for departure angles coming off rocks same as my front bumper, high clearance on the sides so when coming off at a angle it gives you a bit more room to play with

When you get some time in the daylight, want to snap some pictures?

Been debating a steel rear but haven't been sold on anything just yet.

I was in the same boat as you and this was the one that stuck out to me. For one it's a little different and two it matches my front bumper better than the others I've seen. Weight wise it's about 40lbs I'd guess based on how easy it was to lift and install and it has two spots on each side for light Mounts if you want to install some cubes for more rear lighting.

It looked so big and bulky until you look to the side. This one might be an option.

Yup, I really like this one as well.

I do really like my hooks in the rear; any suggestions? I can certainly goovle but wanted to thank you for the photos - looks as good as I hoped for.

No problem. If I were you if your considering it I would order straight from DV8. They had great customer service for me. My package got held up in California until Thursday because of a label on the package and they got it handled and paid extra to make sure it got to me on the scheduled delivery date, which was Friday. They also are the only ones selling it that seem to give a accurate delivery date.

How are your sensors after install? Mine seemed to have lost some distance and don’t beep until I’m right on too of something.

My only concern with that is it looks like the sides are so high that they won't protect the actual sheet metal when departing an obstacle.

So the sheetmetal hits before etc bumper. Which would not be a good thing.

I plan on adding these to mine eventually to add more protection but I think if your taking it easy you would be ok. If I was planning major rock crawling I would have probably went with a $1000 or more option as it is mine may or may not ever see a rock so this works for my needs and i like the high clearance look because I got the high clearance front RR bumper.
