So currently my gladiators got the stock fox shocks and springs that come with the rubicon JT. I’ve got a bedrack and have been overlanding using a regular ground tent and am upgrading to a RTT this week.

Do I need to change anything on the suspension to accommodate for the extra weight??

You should be solid for up to 500-750 lbs of gear with minimal sag. More than that, you may like air bags. A kit goes for less than $100 and will offset 1000lbs.
