So, not sure if this was a one off as I have drove doorless/topless with no issues before. I was at a red light for a couple minutes and when I went to accelerate, the engine did nothing. I had to put the car back in park and restarted the engine. I know there are accessory delays in the uconnect menu but is there something else I'm missing to tell the Jeep the doors are off and I'm not driving around with the door open (I know Jeeps don't like that anymore).

Did you have an open door warning when the doors were off this time? If so, maybe an issue with the door harness? Did it say auto start/stop active while the engine was off? This seems like a new one. You don't have to do anything to tell the Jeep the doors are on or off. It automatically knows, when the door harness is disconnected.

Right, it senses whether or not the doors are on. If they are off, they are off and it knows and you do nothing.
There's something else going on...............

The only time there could be an issue is when you put the doors back ON and you end up with bent connector pins or something doesn't go right making the connection again. But that's a different animal, different topic.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't been able to replicate it so I'll just assume it will never happen again lol
