Driving today (2023 base Sport), a message popped up on the screen: "Connected services needs repair. Contact an authorized Jeep dealer", or something approximately like that. I touched OK, the message went away, but I noticed the Assist and SOS buttons were lit up red. Music (android auto) kept playing, and after a few minutes the red lights went out.
Now I don't care about connected services, lacking keyless entry or remote start it's pretty much useless to me, but I'm wondering what issue might have caused that and whether I should worry about it, unless it was a momentary loss of cell service (there are some dead spots in my area).
