I think just a reliable secondary battery would help out tremendously. I've had no problems with my ESS yet, and I'm hoping the problems were just a bad batch of batteries. Also, if the warning system was better, it'd help. It seems like how a lot of folks are finding out the battery is bad is from a bunch of seemingly unrelated warning lights and CELs, instead of the vehicle just telling you the voltage on the second battery is low.I simply refuse to believe stuffing a little motorcycle battery under the fuse box (which can knock the entire vehicle down) is a proper solution to anything. I'm not an EE, but there must be a more elegant way to do this.
