About 8 times in the last 2 months our Gladiator has not started as normal. The engine turns over normally but doesn’t fire up right away. If I remember right the one time it didn’t start and needed a second push of the button.
This only happens on the first start of the day. Vehicle is parked in heated garage, 12 deg C. 91,500 km on Jeep, no engine modifications.
Any ideas? I read check valve in fuel pump, bad plugs….

You'll probably get as many different answers as there are people who have had a similar issue. There's almost never one solution for something that can have multiple causes.
I'd suggest - and it would only be a suggestion - spark plugs if it had more miles on it but you aren't even at 60,000 miles.
Still, it's near the top of my list. They do wear and any build-up of deposits can cause issues, too.

If the fuel pump isn't building pressure you should trigger a code about fuel pressure.
Remember, most people on the internet aren't experienced mechanics or techs and will echo what happened with them, or what they have read or heard so it may or may not apply in your case.

How old are your batteries?
For excessive cranking before it fires?
If it's that bad, it should kick a voltage low code and trigger a light.
If it's cranking slowly, that's different. He says it's cranking over normally.
Maybe the question to ask is what's the battery voltage.

No CEL, no codes. Bought Gladiator June 7, 2019 Original batteries. Engine turns over fine. I will pull the plugs.
They just crapped out on my JK.

People Work?
I'd replace the batteries too. They've done their time at 3.5 years.
You may have the voltage, but I'm pretty sure you're down on cranking amps.
First start of the day is after the longest period of time without running and charging, plus the legendary Jeep power leaks that seem to never be completely off.

My Friend talks about the computers in these new vehicles like they are the ones in your office. Do you push the start twice and wait for the computer to start up ? Just a simple thing to check.

Lots of really short drives without many long ones? Does the engine ever get up to operating temperature? Maybe get it out on a highway and floor it hard a few times.

It's either ignition or fuel issues. But only happens on cold engine, than most likely fuel or compression related. Inspect the plugs and check compression to all 6 cylinders.
