Has anyone installed the Odyssey Extreme Series Group 27F and AUX14 in their Jeep Gladiator? We have a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon that has dead batteries, won't keep charge. We often drive on some pretty rugged roads and are looking for something reliable. If we're planning on adding extra accessories (headlights, overhead lights, winch, etc.) are there any issues with this battery setup? Do we need a different battery strap or does the stock battery strap fit this larger battery since it looks like it is approximately 1.5" taller.

And for the AUX14, is it easy to switch the existing terminals from the old to the new?

And will the NOCO Boost XL GB50 work with these batteries as a good backup in the event that we are in a remote location and need a jumpstart?

thanks

The screw in posts need swapped between the Aux 14 batteries. A 4mm socket worked for me.

The largest battery the tray is designed to accept is a 94R (H7). Anything else and you're on your own. Going with a taller battery is not recommended.

The JT is designed for AGM batteries. They hold up well for most uses in most environments. Odyssey seems to have a good reputation, but I'm not willing to spend the money for them.

When getting a jump starter pack, buy the highest capacity you can get. It may need to be used several times without the chance to recharge in-between.

I would recommend a portable power station for accessories. It can be charged while driving, and you don't have to worry about drain on the truck batteries.
