Anyone move their outside temperature sensor?
I plow in the winter and my blade guards the sensor causing it to read high do to engine temp.
i don’t really care about having an accurate ext temp gauge other than the fact that is messes up my cabin heater temp too. So if you have relocated your temp sensor with success let Le know where you placed it.
thanks

Did you end up moving yours? If so, where did you go with the sensor?

No I did not. Never found any good info or a spot to move it.

Okay so I am gonna Zombie 🧟‍♂️ this thread .
Has anyone figured out how to make the Air Conditioning to turn on when the outside temperature sensor is interfering with letting it kick in ?
Yesterday I thought something was wrong with my A/C until I can across a thread where a guy was fixing his outside temperature sensor on a Jeep JKU . Our sensor is behind the grill and if it is cold in the morning even if the sun is burning ypu up beating through the windshield it won't let you turn on the A/C pump until it reaches somewhere close to 60°F outside . Question:
Is there a way to defeat that stupid sensor so when I want A/C I can get A/C i work on Raw dirt sites dust is bad and I have to keep windows up alot and not having the option for cold air from the A/C is ridiculous.
Its my Truck I should be able to turn it on when I need it .

Wow , figured someone had dealt with this before .. I just want the A/C to work without having to leave site and drive 3 or 4 miles at 40mph + to get it to change to allow the A/C pump to kick in.
Am I experiencing a type of malfunction ??
