That's interesting and a little cheaper than the Sunrider. Looks like you need to drill some holes into the roof though, so I wonder how it holds up to the weather...

Drilling holes equals leaks. Especially as the wind will rattle those tops around up there...so things will loosen.

The looks are also not the best in my opinion.

Dont like the use of cotter pin to keep them locked down.

Also, once you mount these, they are there. Removing will leave holes in both the roof and the panels. So no going back.

I think I would rather just stuff them in the "nice" bag that came with it then strap down in bed. With 2 or 3 rubber tarp straps. Problematic? No extra holes low cost, but not looking like something to do for next few months now.
But at least someone is trying stuff. :like:

$400+ for a few hinges and bolts, and permanent damage to your hard top? very hard pass. that also looks far worse than sunrider/soft top man buns.

This product is exactly what I love about the free enterprise of America. Here is a man that had an idea and put the time, effort, and money behind a product he finds helpful. Then he markets his idea to share and possibly sell it to those that may benefit from his invention. May not be for everyone, but I am sure he loves his product.

American capitalism at its best! Good luck to him.

I bet that if he showcased it to other outlets, like quadratec and other, he would be drowning in business.

Wow. I'm tempted to sell my Sunrider.

Since I live only two hours away, maybe I'll go have a look in person.

Interesting! Has some positives and negatives. Need to weigh them out! I've drilled holes in brand new boats for years. If you know what you are doing, no problem, no leak!

What about the headliners, will they still be there when the Freedom Panels are flipped back to closed after highway speeds?
