facory Sport S max tow wheels and tires - question on fitment of other Gladiator / JL vehicles

I have a guy interested in my Sport S max tow factory aluminum wheels with the 245/75/17 Desert Dueler AT (upgrade tires from factory) and he is being told they won't work on his Gladiator. That doesn't make any sense to me. I have another guy saying the same thing on a JL. Do these rims and tires not work on anything but a max tow?

They will fit all JL, JT directly, except the offset has more of the wheel to the inside than stock/correct for a Mojave. They also fit JK if you make sure there are no silver colored retainer clips on the studs to hold the brake rotors during assembly at the factory. With JK of course you re-use the JK lug nuts.

Interesting! I didn’t realize this. I figured they were like any other silver Sport S wheels.
