I have no sound from my factory sound system so I read through the various threads and tried the various suggestions to try and get it back, but no luck.
The difference with my problem is that every once in a while the sound will suddenly come back, for a few seconds, usually after hitting a good bump or someone slamming the front passenger side door, then be gone again.
I went to a local stereo shop that has a good rep to see if they’d heard of any problems like that and they said it’s common with the Gladiator to have the factory amp go out. I have the Alpine system in my Rubicon and would have thought it would be better than that.
So is there a way to replace that factory amp? Is it so costly I should just upgrade the whole system? Suggestions?
