Has anyone been able to order a set of these yet? I have a buddy who has a pair on his JL and loves them.

If anyone is running them, what do you think?

Damn...for that money i'm going with MC 6Paks or with coilovers.

I get that adjustability is great...but i see no point in electronic shocks like that when there are manual ones out there (like Falcon manual ones with dials) that have less of a chance of failing. I would be concerned with the wires getting caught on random shit.

Anyone have any input on these falcon adapt shocks? I am considering these, but would love feedback!

An old thread, but figured I put this here instead of starting a new thread. I was working with Stephen at Rebel Off-Road to get a set of the SP2 3.5 aDAPT e-Adjust Shocks (14-04-35-400-000) as they are currently at the 2023 Off-Road Expo in Pomona, CA, so he could give me a killer++ deal. The TeraFlex/Falcon shock booth is right next to them so he walked over to check on availability. The Falcons guys said they are completely redesigning the top cap of the shocks, so those will not be available until next year.
I'll tag in @TeraFlex to this post, in case they have more info or a projected timeline.

Obviously this is brought back from the dead- but reading this, I am kind of hung up. The 6-pack shocks for what they are, are cool. I mean if I was in a situation that dictated that shock travel (extended length) and required the super short compressed length- 6 pack is a good way to go. Aside from that??? There are better shock options out there. I definitely do not think that these two are comparable for any other factor than “they are shocks”.

This whole electronically controlled flow control- is kind-of a one-of-a-kind, and an actual “game changer”(pun;)). I didn’t think a ton of it at first. However, watching some videos on how they behave, and then talking with a couple guys that have them- really changed my views… the ability to change in realtime, say when swerving to miss a rut, or not swerving and hitting said rut…. Front axle is still going to take the blow but the rear axle is going to be able to increase stiffness before impact. ??‍♂
Not having to figure out settings based on vehicle weight is another big deal. It’s annoying to play with settings to dial things in- this will do it based on g’s… no way im going to beat a computer, definitely no way im going to beat a computer on-the-fly…

Both of the dudes I have talked to that pulled the trigger on these have experience with other good shocks. Kings and fox’s 2.5’s on more than one Jeep, and said for the money they were not disappointed- and truely changed the game. ??‍♂ might not be for everyone…

I’ll pull the trigger with the new top redesign whenever that’s released. Have been waiting to do anything to the JT until it’s paid off anyway, looks like timing will line up to be the same.

Hopefully others who have gone down this road will chime in to share their opinions/thoughts on them.

Thanks for the input. My interest has been driven by friends with the DYNAMIX DV Active suspension on their RZRs. While certainly not the same thing as those comes from the manufacturer, so the whole system/vehicle has been designed as a unit, but the performance is crazy good. Even 40% of that performance would be awesome.

My concern is that 3+ years after the SP2 3.5 aDAPT was released there are
A. Very few reviews/videos/posts from actual users. I would think if they were 'game-changing' there would be more raving about them.
B. It seems that after that amount of time the bugs should have been worked out, and it would be just Falcon issuing cool pre-programmed modes to upload into the app.

I'm still very interested and will see how it plays out.

I can agree, Though I think that for most, this is teetering the high side of cost for most. (Opinion). As I think most are looking for the woo ahhh of fox 2.5’s or similar (seems like these get the most highlight at the $2k+ category).
??‍♂. I figure if your spending 1500-2k on shocks- what’s few hundred more for the electronic control.
??‍♂. I have spent more money on worse things. I’ll pull the trigger after the new year with the revised tops… ??‍♂. I’ll be honest and as unbiased as I can. Our jk went with rock sports, to kings, to 8500 bilstien's- so I have lost a lot of the desire to be as abusive as we were to it…. Looking for a middle of the road- do it all… as the JT really is our go off road, drop the kids off at school .

B) I haven’t really read about any bugs- can you post some, this could sway my opinion/thoughts.

I've had mine on for about 6 months. I love them. No issues. I do lots of towing crawling and high-speed stuff. Super comfy for daily driving as well
