Anyone know why the Gladiator Rubicon comes with Falken tires but the Wrangler Rubicon comes with BFG tires?

That's a good question. I just figured it was because the Wrangler already had some sort of promotional deal with the KO2 and with the Gladiator being newer they decided to use the Falkens. I thought the KO2 would have been on the Gladiator as well.

Also, if you look at the Falkens in the JT sizes, they are C range and light weight... , while other Falkens are heavier and E range.... It seems to me that Jeep worked with Falken on the JT tires...

This was covered on here somewhere else but I believe it was simply that BFG could not meet supply requirements.

Also of note you can get the Falkens on the JL as well when your order them. The set of KO2 JL take offs I had on my Tacoma sucked, they always wanted to spin the tires on wet roads. The Falkens did much better, so I was glad my Gladiator came with them. I even kept them when I went up to 35’s.

So far I have been happy with the performance of the Falken tires. Glad to know others have had good luck as well.

This was answered at Easter Jeep Safari last year; BFG was too busy to test/design tires to meet Jeep JT OEM spec. So Faulken stepped up and brought tires (AT/MT) that met the design team’s requirements.

Thanks, that answered my question.
