I am swapping non-painted rubicon fenders for painted once and can't seem to figure out how to swap out the LED lights? Are those permanently mounted?

Thanks!

There's a bunch of screws that hold it all in place from the back side of the fender and then there's a strip of tape along the top you just have to pull loose.

Thank, I think I removed all 30 torx screws, the light is loose, but is not coming out. Is that the part that's taped inside? Doublesided tape like 3m? I pulled and pulled yesterday to the point where I thought the fender itself will break.

Yeah literal 3M double-sided foam tape. It's along the top edge of the light and it was easier to work a trim tool to break it loose a little before pulling. It definitely took some effort.

You're not doing the chop but this is the removal

I googled wrangler fender light removal, etc, before and nothing useful came up. Would have never guessed to search fender chop.. :) Thanks, I think I am good now.
