fender questions for LED

Yes it’s a very odd set up. LED on sport only does headlight with DRL accent and fog light. Safety adds LED tail. Max tow adds regular DRL. But nothing led for the fender.

honestly bummed to learn that today which is how I found this post searching.

unless the website is wrong - which I won’t know till I get my truck in maybe a month

Well that sucks. There are some options if you end up without fender DRLs. I think these would work.

Sorry for the late reply. I posted this on my build thread but forgot to post here. The Quake LED lights work great. no need for tazer of ECU plash. visit build thread for details.

Its definitely not hard, but it is a little time consuming. the first fender took about 2 hours since I was learning and gathering tools. the second fender (I'm not kidding here) took about 20 min.

the bracket holding the lighting assembly in can be a little tricky if your not trying to rotate it correctly.

Last I heard was a build date of Feb 8 and ship date of Feb 18.
Maybe I’ll get lucky and get it by March 1 ?

having just gone through it, I understand your pain. it will happen soon enough, this is the home stretch.

Nothing wrong with pre-ordering parts now. Ive learned that MANY popular parts are on back order. My Clayton lift is still a few week out.

thanks, I wasn't sure if OEM would work. I ended up ordering the Quake LED kit with sequential turn signals. If I have trouble with it, ill try OEM next.

Did you have any luck with the Quakes? I installed mine about a week ago and they have been acting weird. I just got a Jscan and set them to LED. I'll find out tomorrow if that works.

everything works... kinda. the halos work just fine, but according to the instructions, they should switch to an amber color when the turn signals are activate? mine dont but I did tap them into the turn signals per the instructions. I have also since flashed the fender and headlights to LED per the tazer. Ill mess around some more after this cold front.

yes, they work fine. haven't given them a second thought since installation as they look stock.

well shit. I suspect the resistor got wet.

Problem solved and I'm kind of proud of this one. I simply removed the resistors on both side and told the Tazer Mini I was now using LED's . works like a charm.
