Hi! So I have always hated the OEM mirror hanging down so low. I’m 6’2” and it’s directly in line with my eyes.

I ordered the following parts:

BRCOVAN 1'' Ball Mount Base with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C77R7MXQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

RAM Mounts GPS Round Plate with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EET8X8Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

OR

https://a.co/d/arT1hFU

And

RAM Mounts RAP-B-201U-A Composite... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005KWPJ04?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I uninstalled the oem mirror and mounted the RAM ball in its place utilizing the T30 screws that held the oem mirror mount in place.

I then mounted the other ball to the back of the mirror:

And connected them with the screw piece and it looks like this:

I am going to clean it up a bit but it’s so much better than it was. Hope this helps!

that only works if you don’t have the power dimming mirror. With the power dimming rearview mirror, the ball mount is dead center. You don’t gain anything.

What length screws did you use to go into the back of the mirror?

#6 screw 1/2” in length

Just finished up the install using your parts list. What a difference. GREAT mod and perfectly executed. Thanks!
