Always been nervous about this style of slider. The factory rails aren't all that strong from what I've experienced and if these push into the factory slider with a decent sized fall, would the factory rail be pushed into the tub causing permanent damage?

I know the post gets long so I may end up repeating this, but I’ve run his previous version of these rails with the same contact points, came down hard many times verticle and horizontal with no damage other than marks on the rail. The fix, clean it up and hit it with bed liner spray paint. That’s it. Now, if you seriously want to know or need more info, definitely contact Adam. But they have stood up and these have a few upgrades over the previous versions. (see previous posts).

Hmm … I may have to pull the trigger! I had ACE sliders on my last gladiator and they were great! But I can’t understand how they went from 700 bucks to 1400 bucks … However! The GOAT sliders are about 1100 with coupon, which isn’t $700 bucks like the original, but “inflation”, right, that’s what I am supposed to say ???

Thanks for sharing the differences between the original ACE and the new GOAT. Doesn’t seem like a lot changes, different bend at the ends and a grippier finish. The materials still seem to be the same.

I have had mine since spring and love them; however, over the last month it’s developed some rusty looking spots where the top plate meets the tube. This is on both sides, almost the whole length of the sliders. Haven’t used them in salt water, salty roads, or even deep puddles just normal rain exposure. Jeep normally gets washed monthly by hand, steps get brushed clean from dirt with a soft bottle brush (leftover from when the kids needed bottles).

Has anyone else had this happen on theirs? Is there a way to remit the problem? I was thinking of crawling underneath and spraying some fluid film in there to hopefully stop whatever’s rusting. Any ideas would be helpful.

I just bought the Ace sliders. They sold the company and if you buy from the new company website, they are 14 or 15 hundred. If you go to the ace website, they are 900. Extreme terrain website they are 1900. I got them for 900 but yes, they were 700 when I bought them for my last gladiator. Hope they still fit because now I don't know who actually makes them.
