So just picked up a new firearm for my gladiator...Where are you guys locking your firearms at in the JT, any recommendations or solutions to a locked box in the gladiator? Looking at a few options currently and undecided.

I use the composite gun safes from Amazon, they're cheap and TSA rated. There are a lot of places in CA where you have to lock your hardware up, so all my vehicles have them. Plenty of room beneath the front seats, and the mounts work as an anchor.

They don't scratch stuff like the metal ones do.

Bolted mine using existing holes where the rear seat storage bin is. Just had to buy slightly longer hardware. Highly recommend.

Tuffy also makes a console insert like the locker down just be aware they're pretty small. I believe it was @GladGreg that posted a pic of a full size lockbox bolted under the rear seat which is a great idea! I have both (although haven't mounted the rear seat box yet). I can get by with the Tuffy console insert for my Kimber micro but prefer to carry a full size Beretta so as soon as I can get the holes drilled and longer bolts, I'll be going that route.

Tuffy is on my permanent good guy list for the console in my YJ, I hope they keep up their good work. My Glock 33 would fit fine, just sayin'.

Love Tuffy! The console in the Gladiator/JL is just small. And the Beretta is a bit large
