Thanks for letting me in here-- I look forward to chatting and getting some good knowledge from those that have "been there"
Note that i have had it exactly three days--and already an drooling on all the mods i can do.

you will see that a couple of the questions i have are about sound deadening--no, i don't think its terribly loud, but I usually hit all my vehicles up with dynamat, etc. to improve overall sound (better stereo sound, etc)

now to the Newb questions-
--front roof panels---i have heard they can let a lot of heat thru (and noise) being these seem to be fiberglass, with open internal areas--has anyone drilled into them to see if they re insulated? if not, could they be spray (Good Stuff) foamed?

--door panels- easy to take off the interior panel/trim to get to the internals?
uodate-- :

I will have MANY more questions as i go along, and have enjoyed reading up on many of the topics in this group!!

Thx!

Hey Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your purchase!!

Great question on the foam!! I have yet to see anyone ask that and I am very curious on it myself!

yeah-- i fugured if that is hollow, it would be a good place for foam. for rigidity, sound and heat.

one of my concerns was whether it would expand too much and break stuff...lol i wouldnt think so, but never know....

Ain’t that the truth! Never modded any vehicle, except tow hitches. Have my OD for less than 2 weeks and spent $800 so far.

Congrats on the new Gladiator!

And yes, the whole fiberglass top isn't very insulated and transfers a lot of heat. We sell headliners to help with this, if you were interested. I see that you're also interested in sound proofing. We sell Sound Assassin Packages, a similar butyl-based product specifically for the Gladiator (and other Jeeps).

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out directly. Congrats again on the new JT!

Welcome. Great community here. Tons of people that enjoy the same thing.

And yes, as said up top......J. E. E. P. 😁You will have a blast making this your own.

On a fairly separate side note, They have heat in Wisconsin?
