FlashCal for Jeep Not Working

I have a FlashCal F5 that I purchased about a year ago meaning to use it with a JK but I never did. Over the weekend I opened the box, did the software update, and tried using it on my Gladiator. I can't get past the "Please call customer service" message. It lets me select 2020 Gladiator, then asks me if this is the vehicle I previously used it with. If I answer "no" it goes back to the select vehicle screen. If I select "yes" it says to contact customer service.

It is brand new, never used with another vehicle, not tied to any other VIN.

I am curious if anyone else has seen this and knows a quick fix.

I’ve had mine vin lock before even when plugging it into the gladiator, after using it on the same gladiator. Not sure why but it happens. Even happened once in my jku years ago

Just called customer service with it plugged into the updater on your computer and They’ll unlock it for you and make sure it’s set up for your gladiator. their customer service is fantastic.

i always assume operator error on my part! I vin locked mine by not following the startup process correctly...i kept starting my truck instead of just hitting the button to the run position without my foot on the brake pedal. The tech fella was awesome about walking my dumb ash through the correct process

I believe it should just be a programming deal, not a new physical device issue. We’ll see what the op is told by super chips cs.
