Challenger the one thing you will learn from these forums is that everyone with a Rubicon tells you to buy a Rubicon. Everyone with a Mojave will tell you to buy a Mojave. Now when OhGawdiator comes out that has the Mojave suspension and the Rubicon front locker and sway bar with the Hybrid engine option that will be the one to buy. I have a Mojave buy that.
I guess I'm the exception to the rule because I have a Rubi and I would get the Mojave if I did it over again.

If a 6.4 Mojave comes out, I'm trading.

Yep the engine is awesome. It’s breaking my heart thinking about not being able to drive it. But speed is only good for some stuff sparingly when you can’t do much else in it.

I have had My Rubicon for less than a week. It has just about everything and was the most optioned one on the lot. As far as Rubicon over Mojave I read it basically comes down to the suspension and lockers. Other than that they are pretty much the same ( from what i researched.) I really like the all weather Jeep floor mats and the leather heated seats. I also have the larger monitor and the Alpine stereo. I honestly wouldn't change or add anything on mine. That's why I went with the Rubicon. It has everything and then some. All the things I wanted to add to a TJ i penned out turning the pages of the Quadratec catalog for 20 years HAHAHAHAHA. I may add an intake upgrade and an exhaust Just so people can hear me as they watch me roll by.

Thanks! I did get the radio, uograded radio etc. I passed on the leather and cold weather package. I figured I only needed the cold weather if I had leather so there was no point. I’ve already got quotes on getting custom leather done and seat heaters for quite a bit less than just the leather package costs. I may do it, I don’t know. I kind of like the idea of doing my own custom colors. I’m need to Jeep and that list is growing already lol.

Usually I am too but at nearly 3K for the 2 packages I just said forget that lol. I want to see the cloth and if I truly hate it, I’ll replace it. As of now I liked the idea of non-leather seats for summer. Plus, I just found the door panels and dashboard trim for about $350. So I can add all those little stitched details for way less. I don’t even know if I want the heated seats, I have them in my challenger and they’re nice but they get hot fast so you just turn them back off.

This is the first non-leather vehicle since my Kia. I have yet to go through cold weather with them, but so far in the heat the seats have been better than leather.

Good to know! I’ve never had leather in any of my cars but I’ve always found it to be hot, sweaty and sticky. In a Gladiator I think it would be nice merely because the nature of the vehicle and the top off driving. But that top off driving will make that leather so f’ing hot. ? So yeah cloth for now and we’ll see where it goes. Seats covers don’t exist I guess, Mojave seats are different.

cloth + sweat + drinks/food = smell a$$ seats!! HAHAHA cloth seats and kids!! forget about it Always leather!! super easy to clean. My wife would be cold on the sun so heated seats is a deal breaker. and a sticker price of 61k, shy not. I actually got a screaming deal (low 50) I am happy wife is happy and my bike fits on teh back.

Thankfully I don’t have any crib midgets and we don’t plan on having any either! That is a screaming deal! I got the same deal, high 40’s for the leather. I just wanted my payment lower and I’d do it later if I felt the need. The leather looks really nice though.

The heated seats have 3 settings and are great on cold mornings when the Jeep is naked.

I could see that since my challenger is obviously a car and not a convertible. This won’t be a daily driver so there won’t be too many early cold mornings. But, I can easily add the seat heaters and wire them up to an auxiliary switch on the steering wheel. My wife told me to buy every package but I just decided I’d rather spend less for now. I still have to buy her 50K Bronco sometime in the next 13 years.

I think you would be happy with either trim.

I have a Mojave and i love it.

You can always add lockers and disconnects

You can always strengthen the frame and change knuckles.

Find the one that drives how you like, has the options you want and has the lowest price while doing it.
