Follow up on my paint corrosion - doors, hinges and tailgate bs

2020 JT first repair attempt at the jeep dealship closest to me was a disaster, 7 months of waiting and the dealer gives away my parts they ordered. Fired them, on to dealership number two. They took their time going over it and found twice as many issues as the first dealship. Looked up my info in the system told me what they were replacing or fixing and why, parts ordered and appointment to be scheduled in two weeks!!! Drivers door and tailgate to be replaced due to fouling in the seams of both. Tried to talk them out of or purchase my old tailgate, they said every warranty must be returned for Jeeps inspection.

You only get ONE warranty paint repair claim per VIN Jeep. I hope they do a good job, the warranty person told me they will be replacing or adding a new layer of protection product between all the hinges and the door surfaces. Plus completely replacing driver front, passenger rear doors and the tailgate. I‘m hoping they can dig deep in their vast 83 years of experience painting Jeeps to do it right. If it looks like hell, I’ll be returning with a Lawyer in toe to chat with the owner of the dealership.

This is great news to me, considering the a holes at the first dealership were the ones peddling the Only one claim per VIN from Jeep. Obviously they were telling me anything to go away, including giving my ordered parts to someone else. If anybody is looking to buy anything and have them support it from Larry Miller Jeep in Boise ID, run the other way quickly.
