Has anybody put together a mounting system for the freedom panels in the bed? Maybe something that ties into the trail rail system, ratcheting, with a foam base (like in the storage bag). Would definitely be something I would be interested in. Not a fan of the bag.

I'd just like to know more about the Trail Rail System, how it works. Since I have to wait on my Gladiator (ordered just before the shutdown), I am spending the wait time searching the internet for some accessories, and I'd like to how the Trail Rail System can help me organize the bed. I mean, is it just sliding tie-down hooks, or is there more to it?

sliding tie down hooks is what is provided but a lot of manufacturers have come out with a variety of accessories that bolt directly into the rail system: spare tire, offroad gear (shovels, jacks, recovery), fuel/water storage, molle panels, etc. What you get from Jeep is adjustable tie-down hooks that slot into the trail rail system.

You also get the rear under-seat storage box and the bed outlet with the package.

Thanks. Any suggestions on an online retailer that carries that stuff? For instance are the Vector and Rago Fabriction items compatible?
