Front bumper fog lights

Hey guys, quick question for you. I just recently bought a gladiator sport s and, hopefully I’m not alone on this one, couldn’t stand the look of the front bumper close out panels (part of the bumper that looks like it attaches the bumper to the fender flare). So I pretty much immediately removed it. Unfortunately it leaves my fog lights and wiring exposed. I tried to see if the rubicon close out panel would fit and it will not. Right now I have basically just electrical taped the crap out of it. Will that be sufficient? What happens should these wires get wet? Thanks ahead of time guys.

I plan on removing and cutting mine down until I can replace the bumper... it will be fine with the wiring exposed though it might get a bit dirty... no different than all the connectors and wires under the truck.

Just trim them down and reinstall them
