Factory sway bar links at about 5-1/4.

The Metalcloak quick disconnect swaybars are 12-1/4" (and 10" on the short side), just comparing factory mounting locations.

I like the bracket style on the Metalcloak bars, but why are they 7" longer on their shortest setting? I'm running 3.5" teraflex coils, and I know each lift mfg varies their lift height, but that seems like a huge gap.

All that being said, I need a set of sway bar links that don't put my swaybar at a 45* angle. Or I need a die to run the threads down on these Metalcloak links so I can cut them down to a reasonable height. Suggestions?

They'll be longer because of the shock extension length. 45 up is ok as long as it doesn't go vertical on full up, same thing full down, it's a bit excessive but it will be fine.

I personally run closer to 20 degrees up on the front and that will go to about 75 on full extension.
