Like many others, I have an obstruction in the view of my front trail camera. In my case, it's the bumper bar. I realize AEV has a camera relocation kit, but it is specific to their bumper, and I don't care for the look.

I will make a relocation bracket, but before I get too deep into the process, I am curious how many others would like to relocate their camera and where they would place it.

I will relocate the trail camera to my bull bar.

If there were an existing suitable relocation kit, I would use it rather than reinvent the wheel. This project is starting similarly to the @Threedom key fob, where there wasn't a product that met my needs, so we designed and manufactured them.

I knew this would be the case, but couldn't pass up the ARB stubby front bumper - so since then, my beautiful high res front camera has been staring squarely into that 3 inch bull bar. I would like to relocate the camera and squirter to the top of my winch... maybe on a piece of abs plastic giving it a similar view angle as stock location, allowing you to see ahead and just a few feet in front of the jeep.

id love to have one that works with my bolt hood lock. Though, i could easily live view my blackview dash cam to get something similar.

I actually relocated mine with the AEV kit in my Rough Country bull bar. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the bar and tapped it for a 1/4"(maybe one size up or down from there) bolt an used a allen head machine screw to secure it. Works very well, including the wash feature(AEV kit contains extensions for wire and washer line)

I looked at that kit, the one I saw didn't seem to show both a squirter hose and wire (extension) for the camera? As far as new location I was originally thinking down to top of winch.. but possibly the bottom of bull bar - do you have a pic of where yours ended up? Thanks.

I know I had extensions I don’t recall ordering separately, so they were included with something. The fun part is the previous owner relocated the camera to the number when he installed the grill, so I don’t know what they changed other then the wiring came down into the driver’s side wheel well near the frame
