Two questions:
a) Might be kind of soon to ask if you haven't had a chance to experience a heavy rainfall yet; how weather proof/resistant is it?
b) Is there some sort of strap or other mechanism to close it once the panel is opened?

A) I have not dealt with heavy rain yet but I will update once I do.
B) There is a long strap to pull it down. My truck is lifted 4 inches and has 35s it opens pretty high up and your gonna need some strength to pull it down somewhat heavy but I like it! Lol
