Im gonna be making a decision soon on which gears to get so I need some help from you guys. I'm happy with my 38" Patagonias and would def buy them again. I know they are 37.8" and everyone says 37s and 4.88 or 5.13 gears are way to go so will the extra few inches in my pats be a big enough change in the rotation to need to go 5.38 gears? I have a lot of steep curvey grades on my commute to work so either I'm over 3k-3500 rpm in 2nd gear going up a hill very sluggishly or I'm 3rd close to 1800-2k close to lugging so I'm looking for the sweet spot where I can be at like 2700-2800 Rpm going up those hills.
