I am aware that Gladiators use two different TPMS sensors depending on the build date before or after a certain point. I have a 2021 Gladiator with a build date of late Oct 2020.

I'm putting together a new set of wheels and tires soon. I'd like to purchase some generic TPMS sensors from somewhere like Amazon (can I mention them here?) because the Mopar sensors are over $50 each at a discount. Could anyone recommend some generic TPMS sensors that are working well for them in the real world? Thanks.
You can get the OEM, not MOPAR, from Rock Auto.

Yeah, that's a real bummer.

Did you have to program these with an OBD2 device?
Gladiators use a self programming system. As long as you have compatible sensors, all you need to do is drive. The system will automatically pick up the sensors and they're location. Also works for rotations. They should pick up within a matter of a couple minutes of driving (from my experience).

That’s awesome. I’ve noticed some sensors say they need to be programmed. That’s why I mentioned it. Doing a 5 tire rotation should be easy if they automatically sync.

I had some of those universal "programmable" sensors placed on a wheel and tire purchase recently. They were garbage. They never programmed and my tire place couldn't even read them. I checked more into them and they were supposedly dual frequency but the tire place couldn't pick up anything with their tool. I threw em away. Not even worth trying to give away. They were alligator brand.

What did you end up using?

Made a call. My local Discount Tire said they sell the sensors for $63 each, Alligator brand. Won’t be going that route.

Dang. I wonder if I must've had a different model to begin with then. I didn't ask what they used. I only cared that they actually worked.

I’ve noticed my sensors, pre 6/2021 build, cost more than post 6/2021 build.
