Geometry correction brackets/ track bar correction brackets

What’s up guys. Finally lifted my Mojave. It’s sitting around 4 inches of lift. I noticed it has some light bump steer. I see they make track bar relocation brackets and geometry correction brackets. I was checking out evo mfg brackets. What’s general consensus on correction type brackets? Experience? Are they prone to failure etc… lemme know

I'm at 4" of lift. Have Teraflex geo brackets. No bump steer with them.

Check to make SURE your track bar and drag link are close to parallel as possible. This is what causes bump steer when they are not.

The track bar relocation bracket are for when you are close to 6" of lift. BUT you'll need to flip your steering linkage to keep everything parallel.

I have the evo track bar. Looks pretty parallel on the frame side. New track bar, drag, and tierod. Oh and new ats stabilizer .

You have to draw a straight line between the connecting rod ends to determine how "level" the bar is. It's the connection points that determine angle, not the shape. Makes no difference how many turns and zig zags in any connecting mechanism, as many designs do this to avoid other objects, but in the end, the force transfers through the connection points.

I had some bump steer with 3.5" lift with soft springs a Core crawl track bar and a currie drag link w/fox 2.5 JKS/Fox shocks . Because everything was set up for very soft ride I had some bump steer because the suspension would travel so far on dips in the road . All I did was swap the shocks back to my Eibach shocks which were slightly stiffer and no more bump steer . I can adjust my Bilstein 8100 DSA shocks soft enough you can feel slight bump steer. I keep them set as soft as possible and not have bump steer naturally . Its probably because of better shocks that I can get good ride and yet no bump steer. Just the different length of the drag link compared to the track bar alone can create bump steer , more so when lifted . This has also been the case with Currie high steer and when using the OE type TB and DL geometry . I could be wrong but its my theory the its not only parallel that counts the difference in length has an effect also swinging at different arch's
