White leather Rubicon Diesel msrp 61,695 I got 3k off msrp. Purchased first week of August, drove from norcal to bay area California. This area has brutal markups, so if they are dealing on a model everyone in this area is looking for I'd say it's done.
In fact the window sticker had a 20k markup!

I'm talking with a dealer right now about ordering a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon that is coming in at $62,500 MSRP... what would be a reasonable "out the door" price?

"Out The Door" should not even be in the discussion as that usually means the cost of the vehicle plus tax, title and license fees, plus any dealer add on. That means nothing to nobody else.

You need to concentrate on MSRP and below as the tax, title and etc.. is going to based off that.

Look around the forum a bit and many dealerships with some that are on here as sponsors will deal at 1% to 6% or more below invoice pricing for a customer order. That is were you should be working the numbers.

The majority of people that purchase vehicles are not on car forums and are usually uninformed about forum discounts. So many dealers still feed off the individuals who still walks onto the lot looking to purchase a vehicle the old fashion way.

I am shocked that this is still happening. I bought my 2020 JTR in 2019, used whatever the discount program is that I have access to via my job and have happily paid it off.

Different vehicle, but I was ready to order a new Defender 110 for my wife 2 weeks ago, only to have the dealer not be willing to budge on a $10k "market adjustment." Walked out and told him to call me if he changed his mind...

All of the 22 Gladiators around here (MN) are marked down quite a bit, with '23s on the way. $5k-$8k below MSRP. Wranglers are still closer to MSRP.

I just ordered a '23 JTRD below invoice though.

I can't believe there are still places selling these above MSRP and finding buyers. I'm sure this data is old and lagging at this point, as prices have changed a LOT over the last 30 days.

I paid $3000 under msrp for my 2022 sport. No power anything. I was otd at $38.000. But fuck it it’s a gladiator lol.
