Gladiator Bed Rack Systems

Just bought Rubicon and having it modified at Rubitrux in Boone N.C.
Build is 90% planned and one of the last decision is bed racks.
Any advice?

i saw Your earlier post and am leaning toward the Leitner rack.
I like the option to attach tool box etc.
can you run the Gladiator with the rack on thru a car wash?

Depends on what you have on it I imagine. Mine has a big iKamper rooftop tent so I avoid automatic carwashes altogether - that and all of my local automatic carwashes are known for causing damage... What are your eventual plans for the rack? If you run it naked or with only the cargo pods it would likely be okay - maybe not advisable but okay. Only rack I know of that you can quickly slide the rear load bar to the can and use your bed for large/tall cargo still.

Another vote for the Leitner system (I have the Classic), for all the reasons stated before, and for it's modularity.

Just gonna put an xl box on one side maybe a bit on opposite side but nothing on top

I have the fab fours rack and really like it. I have used info from the forum on making mounts work and figuring out how to carry stuff better. Did a 2.5 gallon mount on each side. Still working out some other gear and organizing the decked drawers.

didn’t opt for the forward rack section. I like taking out the freedom panels. Here’s a couple pics of it.
