Saw this bad boy at the dealership this morning. The local Fire Chief has a new toy.

That is a good looking truck. With that paint and sticker package you could go a lot of places in it on the weekends. The only downside as a work truck would be getting enough water to it if there is no natural source to pull from it would run out quick. I would add some cab step rails and mounts for a few tools maybe an Indian fire can a McLeod and shovel for each side. Hard to tell if it has side box for your saw and fuel.

I saw that episode on TV about Apocalypse Gladiator 6x6 builders, where they build a bad ass Fire Gladiator for the local fire company. It had a 10" lift, 43" tires as well as a connector for a moveable fire jet nozzle mounted on the top of the rack (remote controlled) as well as fittings to hold fire fighting tools. It was way cool. The fire company wanted it to be able to go over large submerged obstacles. It was tall enough, with out a snorkle, to go through 4' of water. I am surprised they didn't add a snorkle for just in case the water was temporarily deeper where ever they needed to go.
