Yes, here is a pic of what I believe to be the XY401A harness. This is looking up the passenger side fire wall. Perhaps it can be accessed after removing the right dash speaker??? Probably wishful thinking I know.

I’m not sure how difficult it will actually be to get to. I’m sure it will be a search and find issue but I can easily access the two clips pictures below to release those. Then if the other end is not secured I could maneuver it enough to insert a pin.

1. @Jimmy07 do any of you happen to know what type of pin that harness will use? I want to have it ready to go if I can gain access it instead of waiting for parts.

2. is the harness pictured in the diagram below the receiving end that I will need to insert the pin?

The pin you would need is Aptiv 35091060. That appears to be the receiving half in that pic. Your finding out why most people just bypass that connection, and go straight to fuse f55 with the add-a-fuse (well, that and I’m not certain that wire is populated up to xy401 on all JTs), because the average person installing the CVPM isn’t going to want to mess with trying to access the xy401 connection.

@Jimmy07 I am sure you are correct about this being a PIA but if no one tries, no one knows. Of course I see all the work and initial engineering you and others have done creating harnesses and taking apart the entire back of the vehicle to install the CVPM at its factory location and I'm amazed at your perserverence. I do not think the average person can do the trail cam mod but you definitely have made it easier and I'll bet when you first started researching everyone told you it was impossible or too hard.
Now if the wire is not present from the F55 in the fuse box to XY401A then I'm SOL and I am dumbfounded at their logic to install a 10A fuse in F55 from the factory but then try to cut cost for 1 wire to the XY401A.
As an up date, I am able to very easily pop out (and more importantly back in) the connector holding the harness to the firewall at the very top. I am going to hold off going further until I get the pin above.

It appears from the first picture in the thread that it is actually the male end that I will need the to insert the pin into so hopefully Aptiv 35091060 works otherwise my JT might be out of commission for a couple weeks.

@Jimmy07 I’m sorry to ask another question but do you have the female (receiving) pin it uses to accept the Aptiv 35091060? I plan on buying both just to be sure since I won’t have a good view of what I need until I disconnect the harness and maneuver it down. Thank you in advance.
