You’re absolutely correct. Great recovery. Good level head.They had been trying for 3 hours until I showed up. Both Wrangler winches were burned out because they were pulling him into the hill not up and over. My buddy only took this shot, but i winched him forward to get him off the a tree. Then i put a 20ft strap on from front bumper to front bumper and backed down the trail keeping an angle that kept the strap just above the ground but still pulling up. There was no way to pull that truck sideway and up the crest like they were trying. So i gave onsite example of utilizing the path of least resistance. A lot of people think a winch is a do it all anywhere tool that can move anything. It is not and you can easily break it.
