I purchased the sport model and it came with remote start. And heated seats and steering wheel forgive my ignorance but I thought all that came standard.
What you have is a Sport S, not a base Sport model. You can’t get heated seats on a base Sport model but you can get heated seats on a Sport S. Hope you enjoying your ride.

Cool! I actually love it and I figured it was a sport not sport s because all the paper work even the sticker just says sport, thanks for the clarification

Look on the back of the JT, lower right hand corner, you will see a Sport S sticker on it.
Cheers

Sorry to say it but all base Sport and Sport S trucks have the same “Sport” tag on the back of them, no such thing as a Sport S sticker. I know it makes zero sense at all.

The quickest and easiest way to tell the difference at a quick glance between a Sport and Sport S is the base Sport has black steel wheels. Sport S has the silver aluminum "5-star" wheels. Of course this only applies to unmodified trucks as they left the factory. Once it's in an owners possession, anything can change. And there is even the rare scenario where a dealer may have up-fitted a Sport S with other wheels and tires, so they throw the take-off Sport S wheels on a base Sport to get extra $$$$
If it has manual windows, no matter what else it has or doesn't has, it is a Base Sport. If its a Sport with power windows, it is a Sport S.
Even on the Window sticker a Sport S will only be listed as a Sport. But then in the options it will be either option package 23S or 24S (23 being manual trans, 24 being an automatic). That option package is what makes it a SPORT S model.

Hmmm a base Sport truck with silver wheels or are they black? It’s got manual windows.
What is this creature?

No there’s other base Sport trucks out there. I just swapped out my black wheels for a set of Sport S wheels that I got from another member here. It’s still a base Sport truck as we all know.

I know right!!:surprised:Looks like a strange combo they put together or something. You must have the only one FCA built;)

Ok, point taken. I will edit it to say UNMODIFIED.
But from the factory, what I typed is 100% accurate. :like:

Just for reference this kit will work as well. I was price $550 out the door at Freeman's car stereo with this kit and it has quick discos for taking off the doors. $550 total.

It says for JL but I have confirmed it will work on the gladiator as well.
Hello,

Just checking in on this, i noticed on the below disclaimer "We do not offer an alarm system as an option with this kit. Computer interface is necessary to install an alarm on the new Wrangler JL models which makes advanced auto electrical skills and knowledge a must."

I have not installed an alarm in a long time so i am not sure what is entailed today but does anyone know what needs to be done to install the key less entry fob/alarm?

I do not know. When I eventually get to adding the keyless doorlocks I'll ask them. With everything that's going on right now I haven't even thought about it again

yeah, I'm in the same boat...

I can't imagine i'll get around to this in 2020. I'm hoping to add keyless doorlocks and power windows down the line but.. they are far back in the things to do list.
