Hello all, really need some advice here any help would be much appreciated.

I purchased a 2025 gladiator and I noticed my rear cab was off sitting at an angle. I've never taken the back top off and my gladiators got 21,963 miles. I took it to a local jeep dealer close to where I live and they inspected and verified it was never taken off as well. They submitted this to jeep through my warranty and they denied the claim saying it was outside interference ? I couldnt get a strait answer on what they meant by outside interference the dealer while inspecting said the back rear corner of the cab had a bent pin. Since its never been taken off and verified also by a jeep service don't understand why its getting denied. I spoke to the warranty mngr asked if he had ever came across this he said no. Kinda stuck need some advice.

I did put a bds 2" lift on with bielstein 5100's but that wouldn't cause it my opinion and from the warranty mngr. I did the regear to 4.88 only running 35" nittos.

It is a funny thing that if they think you used your vehicle for the way it was designed, it voids the warranty. Dealers make money on warranty claims. For the techs it can be hit or miss. If there is enough hours in a repair, and they can get it done in less time, they make out. If the job is ridiculously under charged by the manufacturer, it can bite a tech in the ass. This is 75-85% of the cases. So, the fact that the dealer is acknowledging the roof never came off, they can with pictures prove it never came off. This would prove your case and move things along. I am not sure why Jeep is playing games by denying your claim. I do not see how going to a different dealership changes this. They either put a claim in with evidence of damage, and evidence of no top removal, or they didn't.

When you bought the Gladdy new…. Everything was good? Cab was straight, etc?

When did you install the lift?

I’m guessing …..the “outside interference” is from the aftermarket parts / lift. I’m also guessing, they’re making the claim that the lift kit (extra vibrations, harsher ride ??) caused bolts to come loose causing the top to move around causing the pin/s to bend.

There are laws that prevent them from blaming aftermarket parts, but what a pain in your ass the amount of time and effort trying to fight it. 🙄

If a dealership is busy….Warranty work isn’t nearly as profitable (as regular service work) so they’ll make excuses. Finding another dealer who’s not as busy - will jump all over the chance to fill their bays.

I have to add an owner should always bring their vehicle back to the dealer they bought it from for warranty, even reg oil change service will help build a more respectful rapour

I agree if you can.

I tired to take mine where I bought it (Yark in Toledo) for warranty paint work and they didn't want to do it. Told me 6-12 month wait and warranty would expire while waiting.

Yea sitting at the dealer where i purchased my Gladiator, waiting on some kind of answer. funny thing i paid into a 100,000 extended warranty and looks like i can't use it. I'm still under the mnfg warranty and having issues getting approved. Total trash system. Jeeps are meant to be built and Jeep needs to take care of its customers.

Some pictures of your issue might help...

Dealers are notoriously bad. If/when you find a good dealer, be sure to maintain a good relationship with them. Most dealers are bad about taking care of customers, with most of their energy devoted to selling.

You are 100% right, it's called the Magnuson Moss Act, they can not void the warranty without proof that said aftermarket part or install of said part directly caused the "warrantied" part to fail.

The dealer i purchased it from started the process, waiting on the photos so I can post them here so y'all can see them. When the service mngr showed me the pictures it evidently shows the pin bent and shredded. I'll post once I get them, thanks for everyone's input ill update once I get the pics

Purchased it new, upgraded my shocks to bielstein 5100's as well as dual stabilizers. The lift is only a 2" bds lift. Doing modifications wouldn't cause this l. I posted the pictures on this thread to show how bent that pin was

That bent pin had been sitting outside on top instead of seeding flush. Again im saying this came from the factory like this.
