Gladiator won’t go

I started my Gladiator, put it in reverse and it wouldn’t go; felt like it was stuck against a wall. So, I I put it in drive. Same thing, wouldn’t go. I noticed the “D” was blinking.

I turned the engine off; restarted and everything was fine.

Anybody have this issue? Know what the problem is?

Yep when the door is open, the vehicle wont move in any direction. Its a safety feature. Did you have the door open?

Google auto park feature. Worst nanny feature ever!

I was actually in reverse one time and was trying to see over my shoulder and had lfited my ass up from the seat, and I think it engaged then...

Don’t think AutoPark was the problem. I hate to do it but maybe I’ll call the dealer tomorrow. My guess is that I shifted into gear but the truck didn’t know it. Maybe it’s a computer problem?

Who’d a thunk it was just an ass problem. Maybe so.

Hmmm I wonder if this was the throttle body airflow model messing up. I think that control is what is behind many of the misfire an avenger lights.

mine does it if you open the door before turning truck off , next start it is in auto park.
