Glass replacement - Mopar vs HGP

Just had the Mopar Gorilla Glass installed on my 21 Rubicon ($795), sadly it was scratched in three places when I went to pick it up. They are replacing as soon as they can locate another one. On the upside though, very very clear windshield.!

The parts department at my local dealer told me that they were not selling the Mopar glass for the JLs anymore. I hadn’t heard that before - I’m wondering if Mopar will drop the part for the JTs in the future as well?

I hope they don’t drop it for the JTs before they get my replacement ?

I just ordered the HGP windshield. Order total was $757. I’m also on the hook for a $3 Jeep Easter egg sticker… Best I could get from the Jeep dealers for the Mopar Gorilla glass in my area was ~$860.

Feeling pretty good with saving ~$100! Hopefully That will cover most of the install price.

Called my local dealer and was quoted a $735 price for the Mopar Gorilla glass with an install price of $175. There is a 10 day lead time on the Mopar window.

FYI- SAFELITE IS ABOUT 550 FOR THE OEM, AND THEY INSTALL ANYWHERE, TOOK AN HOUR SITTING AT MY DESK AT WORK.
