Going to see if airbags will help with rooftop tent seaying suspension.

Air bags for the rear. We will see if this helps on the interstate driving hauling the extra weight of the tent and supplys. Maybe a pull behind is the future.

I've had them for a few years now I think I run around 19 psi or so. Awhile back I was on phone with Air-Lift to see about a better set due to the kit recommend being slightly to short.

I thought the same. About the length. I just got them all buttoned today. I will pit some air in and see whats up maybe tomorrow.

You need a min 5psi in there and yes, I too have the Air Lift 1000’s in the back of my 21 JTR and when I’m loaded down with the wife, Dane and all the camping gear, I put the bags to 25 psi. They will take 30 but I stop at 25. It makes a huge difference and will play interference with the swaying. You’ll be happy

I run between 5 and 12 psi in mine. I have a 400 pound canopy camper with at least 150 pounds of gear in the bed. Probably closer to 200.

It’s a decent stop gap. But no replacement for proper suspension.

With all the choices I havent decided on the suspension upgrades yet. I want to do one and done.
