Good beginner trails near Henderson area

Hi all - proud new owner here visiting Henderson area for a couple of weeks - where do you suggest for a good beginner trail? I just got a Gladiator Rubicon (2025, last year's model) and want to take it somewhere to do a little low key off-roading to break it in. Any suggestions for trails within half an hour or so of Henderson area? Thanks for any suggestions!

Look up Aztec Wash or El Dorado Canyon. Some good easy going wheeling out that way. You’re in a Rubicon so should be overly challenging. Sorry I don’t have coordinates but probably not hard to find.

I'm new to the area as well, I went to a Meetup a couple weeks back and it was great for beginners and information.

~ You should be able to connect and learn about new trails. Also, apparently there is an app with local trails, I don't know which one,... but I plan on attending more events to learn.

I was on a beginner trail ride that took us over to the lake bed and the 7 Magic Mountains.

I'll see if I can find that route somewhere

onX offroad map app is a great resource for trails all over the US. Membership is worth the fee ( sometimes they run a discount) and Cal4weel members-if you live in Cali-also receive a discount.
the app allows you to filter results, and has color coded by difficulty trail marked. Green is easiest

There are a lot of trails around the Vegas area! There are some out and backs, like Eldorado Canyon, which narrows. There are some large loops, like Lava Butte. If you get OnX offroad it will show you plenty of trails. There are groups around that have runs almost every weekend.
