The previous owner had a ceramic coating installed on my 2002 Boxster and I still am amazed with its shine. So I decided to do the new JT. It had 6k+ miles by the time I was able to get it done due to some major road trips. This guy was a pro and did color correction and fully detailed every exterior surface. He used the Gtechniq products to coat plastics, glass, wheels, and paint (crystal serum ultra) 5 year warranty. Cost $1099. It’s only been weeks, but so far am loving it, the shine is high gloss and it cleans super easy.

the first pix was taken the day he completed, the second pix was a week later with a better angle, so you can really see the reflections. Certainly didn’t see that before the coating.

Howdy All,

Well I just brought the new Gladiator, home. My friend did the ceramic thing and in the sunshine it sure looks pretty, of course nowhere to take photos in the sun so took them when I got close to home where it's darn near always gloomy. Still even under the cloudy skies it shines. I am happy with the results.

I watched this YouTube video and went with the Turtle Hybrid Solutions on every exterior surface, clearcoat, plastics, glass, bed cover, powder coat, and even the tires.
That was about two months ago and it's doing great so far, except the tires. That didn't last very long.

Anyone near here who is willing to make a few bucks doing this and doing it right?

I get $120/hour. It's 17.5 hours to get there and I spent about 14 hours detailing mine. I'll drive home on my dime.
