What Brand Oil Do You Use?

About to do my 2nd oil change and wanted to see what brand of oil you guys use? Ive been using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic in my other car but the JT is a whole different machine.

A search should net you results in the thousands.

But the general consensus is clean oil changed on time.

As far as it being a different machine? It's a pentastar v6 used in sports cars to minivans to trucks to jeeps.

Pistons and cylinders, air, fuel.

Pretty much the same thing.

At the end of the day, brand doesn't matter much.

Yeah your opening up a can on this one. Everyone has their own opinion on which oil is better than the other based solely on what they like and have been true to. In reality it's all pretty much the same as long as you change it when your suspose to.

Should be 4 free. My dealership does an additional 6 after the jeep wave program 4. I should be good for at least 3 more years.

I pre-purchased an additional 6 after the wave. Came out to $70/change for my diesel.

I'm sure they hid the price of the 6 in there somewhere or may of came with one of the warranties. Either way they told me I had 6 more after the 4 jeep wave ones, I didn't even know it but I'll take it. I'm not a fan of messing with it.

I change the oil myself and use Motul. I run their oil in my Fiesta ST, GT4, and motorcycles.

The owners manual says to use Synthetic 0W20 and the suggested brand is Pennzoil.

I'm wondering when the Oil Barons are going to jump in & ''let's get ready to rumble''.

But to answer the question.....my Jeep is still too new for an oil change.

But when it's time, I'll be sure to check back in to wade through the pages for the funnest answers.

Has anyone tried to check the manual ?

Read all you want. Brand doesn’t make much difference.
If you are already using Mobil 1 and like it, keep on using it. Mobil 1 is one of the best.

Ive been running Rotella T "Gas Truck" 0w20 and changing approximately every 5000 miles, been pretty good to me so far. New OEM Filter on each change.
