I like the tread design but I've never had any luck with Goodyear tires they seem not to last very long

I've had many sets of Goodyear tires and they all had excellent tread life. That's one reason I keep buying them.

Most recent is Goodyear Ultraterrain on my JT. I have about 35k miles on them and they still have a lot of tread left. I haven't measured, but I'd guess they are about 50% worn.

I've had two sets of 275/65R18's with over 100,000 mi. on them all told, rotating 5 tires on my 2013 JKU which I just traded in for a 2023 JT. I just put four 285/70R17's and am thinking about getting a fifth and a matching wheel for the spare and was wondering what other JTers are doing in that regard? I consider the Duratrac's to be the best compromise for an all around tire- they're an all weather tire that handle all year round highway conditions here in the mountains of upstate NY, to high speed high temp Interstate conditions driving thru the mid west in summer to get to the trails in Colorado. I don't do extreme wheeling so 33's are big enough and LT's are tough enough for my purposes, but if the new RT's are triple peak rated too and come out in bigger sizes, I think they would be awesome. I also noticed the block spacing on the 285 is is much bigger than the 275
