I ended up buying these. Directions are horrible with the package but quadratec has their own instructions on their website and they are good.
Do they provide enough area for a good side step? Want to keep the functionality of a rock rail/slider with a good side step.

Do they provide enough area for a good side step? Want to keep the functionality of a rock rail/slider with a good side step.
Definitely a good size step the D6 May be better if your lifting and have negative offset wheels. They won’t be able to take big hits. If you slide off a gigantic boulder it wil for sure cave in your body if you land hard on this step. They aren’t frame mounted. Our wrangler is for rock crawling and we use the JT for easy to moderate trails

Do they provide the same protection as the factory rock rails on the Ruicon?
